ガラッ、と窓が開く音と同時に、ジトりんの視線がゆっくりと動いた。
As the window slid open with a sharp sound, Jito’s eyes slowly shifted.
風が入り、教室の空気が少しだけ入れ替わる。
A breeze slipped in, changing the air just slightly.
……彼のジャージの裾が、ふわりと揺れた。
…The hem of his tracksuit fluttered gently.
彼は今しがた体育から戻ってきたところらしく、首元にはタオル、背中には汗の跡。
He had just come back from gym class, towel around his neck, a damp patch darkening the back of his shirt.
「……まだ着替えないんだ」
“…He’s not changing yet.”
ジトりんは呟く。
Jito whispered.
誰に言うでもなく。ただ、呟くだけ。
Not to anyone in particular. Just to herself.
湿ったジャージ生地が、椅子に座った拍子に肌へぴたりと貼りつく。
The damp jersey clung to his skin as he sat, making a faint sound.
脚を組みかえるたび、生地の表面に微細なシワが走る。
Each time he shifted, delicate folds rippled across the surface of the fabric.
それを、ジトりんは見逃さない。
Jito didn’t miss a thing.
「……さっきより、腰のとこ、下がった」
“…The waistband dropped a little. Lower than before.”
彼がスマホをいじっている間も、彼女は瞬きせずに見つめ続けた。
While he browsed his phone, she stared without blinking.
――なにが見たいの？と、誰かが尋ねたら。
If someone asked, “What are you trying to see?”
彼女はきっと、こう答える。
She’d probably say:
「……記録してるだけ」
“…Just documenting.”
